Lemon Ginger Turmeric Elixir
Ingredients:
6 cups of water
1 lemon sliced (rind included)
1.5” ginger root, rough chopped
3 teaspoons of turmeric
3 teaspoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to taste)
Directions:
Fill a pot with 6 cups of water. Add in all other ingredients and bring to a boil on the stove. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and allow the drink to cool off. Strain into a glass jar or pitcher.
Add ice for Iced tea, or drink warm
*if you keep in the fridge overnight make sure you shake before drinking
