Lemon Ginger Turmeric Elixir

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of water

  • 1 lemon sliced (rind included)

  • 1.5” ginger root, rough chopped

  • 3 teaspoons of turmeric

  • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to taste)

Directions:

  1. Fill a pot with 6 cups of water. Add in all other ingredients and bring to a boil on the stove. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and allow the drink to cool off. Strain into a glass jar or pitcher.

  2. Add ice for Iced tea, or drink warm

    *if you keep in the fridge overnight make sure you shake before drinking
