When are you open?

We offer classes 7 days a week. The studio is open 20 minutes before and after each scheduled class. Please feel free to arrive early and ground, stretch, rest before your class begins and stay after to shower, change or chat with a friend. 

Where are you located?

We are at 3465 Dundas Street West on the second floor above Super Kids Dental. Our building is on the south side of Dundas Street, east of Jane Street. 

Do you have dedicated parking?

We do have dedicated parking (free) on the east side of our building. There is also lots of free public parking along Dundas Street right in front of the building and across the street. 


CLASS PASSES & MEMBERS

How can I pay for a class?

We offer various class packages and membership options to make sure you are getting full value from your time with us in the studio. Our monthly membership is $145 and includes access to unlimited on-demand, live virtual and in studio classes each month. This is the best value for anyone visiting our studio more than twice a week. 

Can I use my class passes to book classes for other people?

No, classes within a purchased class pack and membership are non-transferrable. You are welcome to buy a single class pass for a friend and use it to register them for a class.

Do class passes expire?

Class passes expire 1 year after purchase.

If I’m on a monthly membership, can I put my account on hold?

Yes, you can request a maximum of two (2) membership freezes, up to a total of 60 days per calendar year. You must be freezing your membership for 2 weeks or longer. Please provide a minimum of six (6) days’ notice to ensure your account is not automatically charged. Please contact us at sylvia@saorstudio.com to put your account on hold.

Do you offer corporate rates or private events?

Yes, we offer corporate memberships that start with a minimum registration of 5 employees. We also offer virtual corporate classes and mindfulness sessions. CLASSES & STUDIO POLICIES

What types of classes do you offer. 

We offer a variety of challenging and invigorating classes, and we are on a mission to move your body in a variety of ways. Our lowest impact to highest impact classes include: restore, flow, slowburn pilates, lift, tone, pilates cardio, tight sweat and our signature SAOR class. Click here for full class descriptions.

Do I have to book online in advance, or can I just show up?

We recommend booking online in advance to ensure you secure a spot in class, as many of our classes are full before they begin. Walk-ins are still welcome and we will always do our best to make sure you get into a class. 

What do I need to know for my first visit?

Welcome to our SAOR family. We can’t wait to move with you! Please arrive 15 minutes before your first class so we can give you a tour of the space and help you get you familiar with the studio amenities. All you need to bring is workout clothes and a water bottle. We provide your mat and all equipment needed for the class. 

Are the studios heated?

Studio A has infrared heaters that WARM the room to 26/28 degrees Celsius (78/82 degrees Fahrenheit). We are NOT a HOT studio. Studio B is regular room temperature. 

Do I need indoor shoes?

Indoor training shoes are welcome however not needed as most of our classes are mat based pilates strengthening exercises and better experienced without shoes. 

Can I bring my phone in the studio?

Out of respect for the class participants and the disruption electronics can cause while moving mindfully, we encourage everyone to leave their phones at home or in a locker. We deeply respect your need to stay connected and ask that if you have to bring your phone into the class, you silence it and stay at the back of the class. 

If I arrive late, can I still take a class?

Out of respect and safety for your fellow classmates and trainers, classes start on time and we encourage you to arrive before we begin to avoid interruption of the class flow. We do understand that life is busy and you may need to pop in a little late or leave a little early on occasion. Please avoid these interruptions when possible.  

What is the age requirement for children to attend a class?

We recommend children over the age of 13 to attend a regular class with supervision. A separate account, waiver and class pass is required for children to join you in studio.

Is your studio fragrance free?

Out of respect for members we ask that you be fragrance free when coming to the studio. Strong scents can not only be overwhelming, but they can also cause allergic reactions, discomfort or even nausea to others. 

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please cancel your class at least 10 hours in advance for morning classes (6,7, 8am) and 5 hours in advance for day time classes (9am - 8pm). If you need to cancel within this window, there will be a $15 fee, or you will lose a class pass. Additionally, if you are a no-show (without cancelling), there will be a $25 fee. How does the waitlist work?

Our waitlists are there to help ensure our members have the best chance to secure a class spot. If a spot opens up, you’ll be automatically enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis, up to 10 minutes before the class begins. If you can’t attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid automatic enrollment and penalties. Removing yourself allows others the opportunity to join. You can do this at any time without a fee. Once in the class, our no-show/late cancellation policy applies.

What’s your refund policy?

We do not allow refunds and do not accept requests for price adjustments.

SHOWERS & FACILITIES

Are your class passes refundable? 

 All classes and credit packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.  

Can I cancel or refund my membership?

All membership packages are non-refundable.Monthly memberships can be canceled any time by contacting us via email, phone, or in person at the studio. We require 30 days notification for cancellation. 

What is your refund policy for retail items? 

Unused merchandise will be accepted for a full refund within 14 days of purchase and will be issued to original form of payment. After 14 days, a store credit will be issued for up to 30 days.  

Can I get a refund for my gift card? 

All gift cards are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.  

 

Do you have showers? 

Yes, we have a men’s and women’s shower/change area. We provide shampoo and conditioner in both showers. Please bring your own towel, toiletries and anything you need to prepare for your day after you shower.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

No, we provide all equipment for you at no additional cost. All you have to do is show up and be ready to move.

Do you accept cash?

Do you have an energy exchange team?

Yes, we have a wonderful group of people who help us in the studio in exchange for unlimited classes each month. To qualify, you must complete the Return To You program and be an active member in our community. Email sylvia@saorstudio.com for more information or to apply.
