Ingredients:
1 cup of black beans (cooked from can, drained and rinsed)
1 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon almond butter
3 tablespoon organic maple syrup or honey
5 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
Chia seeds for outer layer
Directions:
Combine black beans, coconut oil and almond butter in a food processor and blend well.
Add maple syrup, cacao, vanilla and salt and blend well until all the ingredients are mixed and a thick dough is formed.
Refrigerate for an hour or longer.
Form small balls with the chilled black bean mixture and roll in chia seeds. Keep chilled in the refrigerator.
