Brownie Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of black beans (cooked from can, drained and rinsed)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

  • 3 tablespoon organic maple syrup or honey

  • 5 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • Chia seeds for outer layer

Directions:

  1. Combine black beans, coconut oil and almond butter in a food processor and blend well.

  2. Add maple syrup, cacao, vanilla and salt and blend well until all the ingredients are mixed and a thick dough is formed.

  3. Refrigerate for an hour or longer.

  4. Form small balls with the chilled black bean mixture and roll in chia seeds. Keep chilled in the refrigerator.
